A new support group at Kansas State is drawing some attention to a growing problem that people seem to be having. As gaming goes more mainstream, and gamers start to become cooler, there starts to be more gamers with girlfriends, but the girlfriends might not be gamers as well. As such, when you’re out with your buddies until 4am playing Halo, you might come home to a rather upset girlfriend.
Now, I’ll admit, sometimes I can get entranced in front of a videogame for what seems like forever. Sometimes it’s even enough to piss off the girlfriend a bit. But I don’t think I’ve ever taken it to the point that she’d want me to give up gaming.
Seriously guys, if you’re a hardcore gamer, you’re going to have to look at the trade-offs: Naked woman in your bed, or vibrating controller and 3 guys.
