EA is in shock that their new FPS BLACK was leaked out to the internet. Shocked I tell you. Really now, you lay off 350 employees, treat them like crap, probably give them a severance package that makes them seem like they are on welfare, and they’re shocked?
No video game publisher should ever be shocked that their title was leaked to the internet. While the scene is large, for the average home user, it’s too much work to download the games and set them up to play on their Xbox. You won’t be able to play the game on Live, and generally it’s better to have the disc. 99% of the people downloading the game probably wouldn’t have bought it anyway, and if they did, they’d probably buy it used, which wouldn’t give any money to the publisher or to the studio, just to the game store or person who originally bought it.
